Control Panels

Control panels are purpose-built enclosures that house electrical components used to operate, monitor, and control machinery and equipment. Unlike standard distribution boards, control panels are focused on automation and process control rather than simply distributing power.
They are widely used in manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, water treatment facilities, and HVAC systems.

Inside a control panel, you’ll typically find components such as contactors, relays, timers, motor starters, PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and sometimes a HMI (human-machine interface) screens to show what’s happening out in the field. These elements work together to ensure that machines or systems operate efficiently, safely, and according to specific requirements.

Control panels can be fully customised to suit the needs of the application - whether it’s starting a pump, sequencing industrial processes, or integrating with building management systems. They can be designed for single equipment operation or complex multi-zone systems with remote monitoring and alarms.

Safety is a top priority, so panels must comply with Australian such as AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 61439 series of standards. Panels may also require IP-rated enclosures for protection against dust, water, and harsh environments.
